Sleeping Beauty - Part 1

The weekend is over and a new week is beginning. Fortunately, we had a good weekend over here in Florida. We did some house cleaning but for the most part we focused our attention on our Isabelle. She loves it when we play with her and we love it when she's happy so it's a win-win for everyone. I hope everyone else had as good a weekend as we did!!
While reviewing our photo collection I noticed that I have more than a few pictures of our little Isabelle catching some Zzzz. I have chosen some of the cutest photographs and am doing a multi-part series chronicling our little sleeping beauty. Part 1 is pictures of Isabelle during her first month of life, March 2008.

Talkin' 'Bout My Girl

The weekend if finally here!! We've been really busy over here in Florida. Isabelle and I have been enjoying a full social schedule with activities including play group on Wednesdays and bible study on Thursdays. We've been having lots of fun together!! Two of my best friends Leah and Brittany were both without husbands this past week so we spent a lot of our time together just keeping busy. I am blessed to have such amazing women in my life. They are teaching me so much.
David also had a busy week. On Monday he had a "mandatory fun day" at Tyndall where he and our friend Shannon participated in a kayak race and won second. Needless to say, his girls were very proud of him!! On Thursday David finally completed HP #7 of 8. He is finally able to relax a little more now that he is down to one mission.
My pictures today are of David singing to his baby girl, Isabelle. We were washing dishes the other day when David grabbed a measuring cup and broke out in song.
Of course, Isabelle loves anything that David does so she was soaking it all up.
Yep, she's definitely in love!!

Crazy Isabelle!!

Hey y'all!! I'm back with another video!!
Isabelle has learned how to move her head, and lately she has enjoyed showing us how she can swing it back and forth. She thinks it's hilarious and we think it's pretty dang cute as well. She definitely gets the attention she is looking for!! I know y'all will enjoy her antics as much as we do.

Isabelle's Stuffy Stuffy Nose

The week has begun!! I should tell y'all that I had a brief impulse to skip Monday's post. I say brief because I knew that seeing Isabelle's cute little face would be a great start to everyone's week!!
Today I have another video. There has been a cold passing through the Florida Elizondo's house for about three weeks now. First Isabelle had a cold and then David caught it and then me. Unfortunately, it took a while for David and I to get rid of it and now Isabelle has been hit with round two.
She is feeling much better now but, as the video shows, she still has a stuffy, stuffy nose.

Swing, Swing, Swing!!

The past few weeks we have really enjoyed walking to the neighborhood park with Isabelle. We all love to get out of the house and the weather has been so beautiful lately. Isabelle has discovered that she loves to swing on the swings and, as David has previously predicted, she loves to swing high!!
I have attached some pictures of our giggly baby girl mid-swing. I tried to choose the photos that would let you see her beautiful face as she comes towards you and also hear her adorable laugh as she giggles in glee. I hope that I chose well.
